Hinsdale Orthopaedics
Hinsdale Orthopaedics has served the community for more than 60 years and is one of the most highly respected orthopaedic groups in Illinois. Our internationally recognized physicians are sought out for their medical and technical expertise. Hinsdale Orthopaedics provides quality orthopaedic treatment and care to thousands of patients each year.
Today, the practice boasts 25 exceptionally trained physicians representing all of the orthopaedic sub-specialties in seven offices located in the western and southwestern suburbs of Chicago. Innovations such as minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopic hip preservation techniques, cartilage transplantation, robotic and computer assisted surgery, artificial disc replacements, arthroscopic shoulder, wrist, knee and ankle surgery are but a few of the on-going advanced techniques provided by our surgeons.
At Hinsdale Orthopaedics we recognize that orthopaedic afflictions come with patients. We treat not just the afflictions but the whole patient. It is this longstanding, ingrained tradition and culture of caring that has prompted several of our surgeons to participate in humanitarian trips to such places as Haiti, Africa, India, Ecuador and Nepal. Thus, it is no wonder that Hinsdale Orthopaedics numbers among its patients people not only from the Chicagoland and Tri-State areas, but also patients from Canada, Mexico and as far away as Kuwait.
After conducting a thorough history and physical examination including X-rays, a physician may recommend medication, injection therapy, physical therapy, or another form of treatment. Or, the physician may consider the option of a joint replacement. Joint replacement helps to relieve pain and disability caused by arthritis and other orthopedic problems or disorders.
More than 500,000 total hip and knee replacements are performed in the United States every year. This is a procedure that has been used over the last three decades with a high degree of success and with minimal risk.
